Conditions of admission to Master's study
According to Section 56, Paragraph 2 of Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on higher education institutions and on amendments and supplements to certain acts, the basic condition for admission to engineering studies (second-level study program) is completion of a first-level study program. Based on Section 56, Paragraph 2 of the Act, FMMR TU specifies the following additional conditions for admission to individual study programs:

In the case of persons who have been granted asylum, subsidiary protection or temporary refuge, the condition under Section 56, Paragraph 1, may be demonstrated by means of a sworn statement and a test of general academic aptitude. Details are specified in the internal regulations of the relevant university.
Application form:
Applications for all study programs are submitted electronically without a guaranteed electronic signature, using an information system that allows applicants to verify that their application has been registered in the information system from the date of submission until the end of the admission procedure. Applicants are required to provide the information specified in Section 58, Paragraph 3 of the Act in their application; applications cannot be submitted without all the required information.
Applicants may also submit a written application on a form prescribed by the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic.
This means that it is possible to submit only an electronic application (without subsequently sending a written, i.e. paper, application) or only a written application.
Fee: €20.00 - electronic application (€50.00 in languages other than the national language) in necessary cases €30.00 - paper application (€60.00 in languages other than the national language)

The individual levels of Bachelor's and Master's studies are interconnected and allow graduates of the Bachelor's level to study at a higher Master's level within the same or a related field of study. Admission to the program is based on a selection process based on the results of the Bachelor's program.
The faculty reserves the right to adjust the number of applicants it plans to admit to the relevant study program depending on the current number of applicants, current social demand, and current capacity.

Studying a second and subsequent study program while concurrently studying in the Slovak language is subject to a fee in accordance with Rector's Order PR/TUKE/03/24 (€500 per academic year). Studying a study program in Slovak that lasts longer than the standard length is subject to a fee in accordance with Rector's Order PR/TUKE/03/24 (€600 per academic year). Full-time study programs taught exclusively in a language other than the official language are subject to a fee in accordance with Rector's Order PR/TUKE/03/24 (€5,000 per academic year).
The faculty reserves the right to decide whether the content of the first-cycle study program completed by the applicant meets the requirements for studying the relevant second-cycle program and subsequently to decide on the prescription of differential subjects or on the rejection of the applicant.

Applications are submitted on the web portal eprihlaska.tuke.sk via the MAIS modular academic information system. The application process consists of several steps.

Before submitting an application, applicants must prepare a CV and electronic copies of documents proving their educational attainment (bachelor's degree, diploma supplement, state examination certificate). The required documents must be in PDF format.
