Social support
Social scholarship for university students – assistance for socially disadvantaged persons (Decree of the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic No. 102/2006). Information on who is eligible for a social scholarship and how to proceed.
Motivational scholarships (for outstanding academic performance and representation of the school) from the state budget and the TUKE scholarship fund
Company scholarships – offers from manufacturing companies – preparing students for employment in a company (final theses, internships, summer jobs, etc.)
The Education Support Fund is a non-governmental special-purpose fund for providing loans to university students.
Accommodation and meals - TUKE students can eat in the canteens on the school premises and in the dormitories. Students of the Faculty of Materials, Metallurgy and Recycling are accommodated in dormitories at Jedlíkova 5 and 13. Applications for accommodation are submitted to the Accommodation Department of the TU dormitories (Jedlíkova 5 and 13, 040 11 Košice).
Student Information and Counseling Center – provides information about student activities and life at TUKE, arranges summer internships and part-time jobs for students, and provides information about opportunities to study abroad link to IPC – TUKE
ISIC (International Student Identification Card) / TUKE Student ID Card - allows you to enjoy all student benefits within TUKE (meals, accommodation, access to study rooms, libraries, and computer rooms, etc.), Slovakia (discounts on transportation, visits to cultural monuments, etc.), and, if you activate your ISIC card, student benefits abroad
